Now I can eat a great breakfast in Palm Springs

Zoe | Jan 22, 200310:31 AM     15

New at 135 E.Tahquitz with free parking in back is "More Than a Mouthfull" - a breakfast/lunch delight with everything including the sausage patty and hollandaise, homemade. The two owners, Barry and Fred (in the kitchen) have a large menu with eight or nine "hollandaise" breakfasts, marvellous waffles and potato pancakes to scrape the plate for. Its open Wed through Monday (closed Tues) from 7.30 am to 3.30 pm. For $2.50 additional charge to any dish you can get a glass of fresh OJ and the choice of four different coffees. The guys are grads of Cultinary Inst.of America and were in the catering biz in LA previously. We went twice for breakfast over the weekend and I had home made corned beef hash (exceptional) and eggs benedict the next day. Big patio out front shaded. Not Denny's prices but first rate quality food.
