Eastern Buffet/ Sacramento

It was one of those evenings, after Christmas shopping and fighting traffic, when my daughter and I needed to have something good to eat "Right then."
The Eastern Buffet on Alta Arden and Howe Ave. is right around the corner from where I live and seemed to be a good choice.
Both of us were dissappointed in the sparse selection of items on the buffet, as well as the minimal amounts of food offered in the dishes.
Most items were flavorless, even though the Mongolian BBQ selection did look pretty good.
But we should have figured it out ourselves when only 4 other people were in the restaurant at dinner time.
After we paid and turned to leave I noticed the owner looking in my direction with a look that told me I just did not measure up.
After the less than mediocre food I did not need that.
I know I won't be going there anymore.
