Have a day to prepare still.... Will be for 4 people only. Definitely want to make lamb, and looking for great ideas for seasonal, festive accompaniments.
So far my menu looks all-too-boring and predictable, and want to make it more exciting!
Artichoke salad with red bell pepper and arugula
Roasted leg of lamb with garlic, rosemary, rich red wine sauce
Steamed French string beans or asparagus, and roasted potatoes with garlic, butter, EVOO, rosemary
(Will buy a dessert.)
I always lean toward the same things... usually olive oil and garlic, a combo I obviously love, and other classics, but there must be a site with more inventive ideas, that are still rather simple to prepare.
Have perused foodtv and epicurious, but found nothing inspiring. Don't want couscous or kebabs -- must be traditional, at least for this Easter.
