Between 1st and Ave A on St. Marks, stands this tiny storefront with an eccletic array of all vegan items...cookies, brownies, pumpkin pie, and even pizza and mac n cheese! I tried the apple strudel...pretty good, though definitely did not resemble a strudel save for its appearance- the dough was thick, not flaky, but still yummy. The tofu muffin was an entirely new experience- it was actually wet- strange texture, yet I have to admit I liked it. I guess unless you really are a vegan, if you want a special treat, go elsewhere, but if you're the adventurous type who likes to eat sweats more than occasionally, it's a pretty good option. I'm just curious how others feel about this place.
