I believe they're closing the 15th of March. Got an offer they couldn't refuse. Fortunate for them. Unfortunately, that means that super cool space age stone age building is not going to be around much longer.

We went last weekend. It was bittersweet, and the food was still good (fried chicken tasty, though maybe showing the chaos brought on by rushes of people coming in to eat there one last time). The broccoli was good, not overcooked and the mashed potatoes were perfect. Thick and pasty with lumps, but in a good way. Lemon chess pie.

Anyway, last chance to eat at Earl Abels. Take a picture while you're at it. They're also selling memorabilia.
