I want to serve a duo of soups, in the same bowl sort of in a ying yang patter. The two soups I have mind are butternut squash and roasted tomatos.
Does that sound like it would be a wierd combination? By themselves they are great soups, and the colors of both are so seasonal and pretty. I'm hoping the contrast of sweetness from the squash and the tartness of the tomato will work well off each other.
