dungeness crab

I'm visiting the Bay Area and would like to try San Francisco's famous dungeness crab with sourdough bread. I read that the season goes all the way to June, although the crabs may not be as succulent as towards the beginning of the season back in November. Is it still worth seeking out now? And what would be THE place to have this treat, if any? Any preparation would be fine, although I would like to have the famous sour dough bread with it. Anywhere from SF to San Jose. TIA for your suggestions!
