Duck rillettes

I roasted a duck tonight and have quite a bit left over. I was thinking of shredding it and making rillettes, but all the recipes I have seen either start out with a confit or a braised duck. Any opinions on whether or not it would work with roasted duck?

And does anyone have any recipes or tips on this? I've never tried it before.
