For my friend's birthday, we celebrated at Dos Caminos (thank you to everyone who posted regarding healthy dining options).
This was her choice. We ordered the guacamole, the 3 ceviches (tuna, red snapper, and something else), sea bass entree.
The guacamole was pretty good, but the chips were a bit stale. Though, there were a lot of both. The ceviches all tasted similar - lots of citrus and cilantro -- and fishy. We hardly touched them. The sea bass was overcooked and fishy as well. The other vegetables with the seabass (potatoes, string beans) were tasteless and dry. The best part of the meal was the coconut cake that they comped us for my friend's birthday. It was surprisingly moist, not too sweet, and just right with the berries and sorbet on the side.
Our waiter was very nice and knowledable about the menu. He was the highlight of our dining experience!
I was disappointed the first time I had eaten here, but chalked it up to growing pains as the restaurant had just opened. This time was just a ripoff. I won't be coming here again!
