Went to Dok Bua once again! Had the fried catfish with chili.
The fish was great. Spicy and zesty with good juicy, crunchy meat. Tastes very similiar to the soft-shell baby crabs at Jumbo seafood restauarant in Chinatown. Dok Bua's fish however has a spicy thai chili twist to it.
My only complaint was that the fish was deep fried with lots of oil. Wish it wasn't so greasy. Could feel my cholesterol going up in my blood!
Loved the string beans that came with the fish. Tasty, firm and fresh.
Ordered the sticky rice. Little bit dissapointed as my rice was a little bit dried up. It came in a plastic bag, so it seemed like it had been sitting there for a while and probably dried up.
Is the Durian sticky rice that dodinBouffant mentioned different then regular sticky rice? I couldn't find it on the menu.
Well I'm off to Dok Bua again soon, for my goal of trying everything on the menu!
