The Dog House in RTP

I thought I would try the Dog House. It is only a little past Rub's, and I have passed by it a couple of times and always wanted to try it out. A place that specializes in hot dogs must do that very well.

How naive.

I got two dogs. One with Saurkrat and one with what appeared to be chili.

Both were really not very good. The saurkraut was best described as "harsh" and tasted like the can it most certainly came out of. The "chili" had a weird crumbly/gritty texture.

The dogs themselves? Nothing special at all. Cooked, with a little snap in it, but not worth it.

Too bad - as I said, it would make a great spot for a dog place.
