Ditmas Park Eats - New Mexican on Church & Updates & Questions

Has anyone tried to the new Mexican on Church? I think it's called La Hausteca.

AM Thai on McDonald Ave. is great. The owners are really nice. They were very kind to my 3 kids, making special chopsticks for them, while we had lunch there yesterday. They also deliver as far over as E18th Street. I have been begging them to relocate or expand to one of the empty store fronts on Cortelyou. We could use a fabulous Asian, even if they just remained a take out joint.

If you read the Times Sunday, you may be aware that the Pizza place on Cortelyou will be expanding to the storefront next door as a bar/restaurant. Not really sure what to expect. Also Picket Fence and the Green Market will be featured on Roker on the Road. Generally, we love Picket Fence. Three cheers for the Mac and Cheese and the healthiest, most appealing kid's meals in the city. My kids inhale the Turkey meatloaf.

I have heard many rumors about the fate of the Cornerstone, including taking on partners to do food (not sure how/when/what) and some far out rumor that A Table was going to take over the joint....

Any one else know anything
