Dinner for parents, sky's the limit

TimLakin | Oct 5, 200212:31 AM     6

My parents are coming to the LA area soon, and I wanted to go with them to a nice place with my fiancee and their two friends - they've already been to Campanile recently (they visit a few times a year from Chicago), and Patina last year, and price is no limit. Assuming they like well-prepared, large portion, American, French, Italian, etc. (not asian or too haute) and that my mom only eats seafoods and veggies, where would be a good place to go? They're staying in Century City and they'll probably be taking a cab to meet us.

So far I have the following picked:

Jar
La Cachette
Melisse

I can't really think of any other place that sounds that great that I haven't been or that I would really like to go with them. Any suggestions from LA area foodies?

Thanks!

Tim
