Diner in Billburg

Went to Diner in Williamsburg on Saturday night. Had never been. I know, i'm catching the tail end of a long train.
But it was really scrumptious comfort food. The drinks were mixed perfectly. And we sat outside surrounded by nice people and an interesting view of a part of the city we rarely get to.
I say it's well worth the trip - even from the nether regions of the Upper West Side from which we hail.

By the way, afterwards we went to this great new (?) Brazilian bar just off Bedford on maybe 6th...the floor of the bar was covered with sand, they had a lone acoustic guitarist in the corner and the garden in the back was an absolutely marvelous oasis. No idea what the name was, but we've go back there in a second, too!!!

Then we continued our Billburg exploration with a night-capper at DOC. We each had a great glass of wine, coupled with some cheeses...and then a desert wine...all was magnificent and the service was very friendly.
