dim sum for a crowd?

Hi -

Please recommend a restaurant in Chinatown for a group of 12 people for dim sum on a Sunday morning. We would probably descend on the place about 11:00 or 11:30.

It's a birthday celebration for a mom who recently adopted her daughter from China (uh, that would be me, and I am expected to pick the restaurant).

I am an adventurous eater, loved the spicy food in the home province (Hunan) of my little chili baby and will try most things. (I confess I did not try the whole miniature frogs swimming in secret sauce at the hotel. I am more comfortable eating my frogs in parts.) Several people in the birthday group, however, are pretty conventional eaters, so I want to be sure there are recognizable items they will enjoy.

Also trying to find a place where we can either make a reservation or know that we won't wait more than ten minutes or so. Is that even possible?

Thanks a bunch.
