DiFara's Driving Days

Midwood Mike | Sep 26, 2004 08:45 PM

For those who prefer driving to DiFara's, the next 2 weeks offer a rare opportunity. Because of religious holidays, the Orthodox Jewish neighborhood surrounding DiFara's will basically shut down this Wednesday evening 9/29 (from about 6pm) thru Saturday night (until about 8pm). Driving and parking, which can be tough most weeknights (and especially Thursday nights) should become hassle-free. This situation will repeat itself a week later (Wed 10/6 - Sat 10/9). Of course, you won't be able to cross the street for post-pizza dessert at Isaac's bakery (they'll be closed).

The rest of the year, the time to drive to DiFara's is Friday night or Saturday during the day, for the same reason.
