Hi - Looking for a dessert recipe that I think was in the November 1990 (maybe December?) edition of Bon Appetit. I have searched Epicurious in vain, as well as myriad other web searches and cannot get it to come up.
I made this dessert once for a Thanksgiving family dinner, and every year I think to make it again, but never did. It is a dessert - cake - bundt, I think. One of the ingredients was crystallized ginger, and my memory is that the finish was whipped cream spiked optionally with rum or bourbon. It was one of the first things I baked when first really getting interested in cooking and baking - this was the first year of my Bon Appetit subscription. I saved this edition for many, many years, and finally lost it in one of our moves.
