Looks like a lot will be happening this fall in downtown Delray...

* Linda Bean's Maine Lobster Roll construction looks to be nearly done and they look like they could open in a month or so...

* Work is progressing furiously days, nights and weekends on the "new Elwoods" (Opening this fall as Johnny Browns)...

* Ditto for the "new Louie Louie" (opening this fall as "The Office" run by the VIc and Angelo's folks)...

* A new place is being built out on 2nd in Pineapple Grove - sign says it will be a bar/bistro called "Taste". Near or on the site of the old Jamaican takeout place Nate's.

* Finally news that the old Shore (and many others) on A1A and Atlantic is finally going to be replaced with a more casual "surfy beachy atmosphere place.

"Taube's new oceanview restaurant will be dubbed Surf Sliders. Think beachy and relaxed atmosphere with a surfer theme."
