ASIAGO on Main Street has pizza to equal or better Frank Pepe's or Sally's from New Haven. After my first pizza there, I said to the prop, "you'll have to find a new name for this, 'cause it's better than pizza". My most recent meal there was a special - braised beef provencale served on a bed of soft sundried tomato polenta with baby carrots and onions, served with a good balsamic-dressed salad and awesome garlic bread. I discovered new flavors which, after 62 years, doesn't happen every day. There's a steady take-out business but also about eight tables. Stylish, too. Call me happy, because I live just up the street.
