DC needs advice for Manhattan

Ok NY I need your help.

I am coming to NYC for just one day to go to Kleinfeld's because they seem to be the only place that has dresses I tried on in a trunk show and my Mother didn't get to see them. (Sigh, Gag) I am coming on May 10th and since it is the day before Mother's Day I thought I would take my Mom to a nice lunch or dinner. And maybe find a small but nice relaxed place for the other meal where we could do something simple.

We have no other plans besides dress shopping. We will eat anything within reason. I would like to take her somewhere nice. I don't have too much money to spend on the meal, but I am used to DC prices, so I am willing to spend up to $150 for both of us. Is there anywhere good, that I could get a reservation at this point that I could do that and bonus points if it has a nice, but not really expensive wine list.

This place seems to be near W 20th and 6th Ave. If it is nearby awesome, if we can get there in reasonable time by cab, that's cool too.

Thanks.

PS Sorry I don't know what neighborhood this is so I didn't know what to search, sorry I normally just go where friends and fiance take me, they have good taste, so I don't ask questions. What neighborhood would this be in?
