A few days in Palm Springs- Review

I just got back from a great trip to Palm Springs and L.A. I thought I'd share a few places we ate...

Palm Springs
As I was headed down Ramon one morning on my way to Don and Sweet Sue's, I spotted El Rachito Taco Shop right across the street. It doesn't look like much, but it was the best mexican fast food I've had in my life. Ever. The carnita's taco was tender and flavorful, but the beef tacos were spectacular!! The beans and rice were delicious, too. The guacamole was fresh, chunky and tasty. This was definitely a great find for me. A plate of two beef tacos, beans, rice and a few chips cost around $6.00. There was excellent salsa, radishes and jalapeno's on the salsa bar. Wow.

We ate at Don and Sweet Sue's the next morning for breakfast...It was good. Typical small restaurant food, not remarkable, but not bad either.

We really enjoyed our time in Palm Springs. The people were very friendly and the sights were great, too. We loved the tram ride and Joshua Tree National Park. We would've loved to do the windmill tour, but didn't have the time.

In L.A. we had Killer Shrimp and Wahoo's Fish Tacos. Both were fantastic. Would love the shrimp recipe.
