Hi all
Although I typically concentrate on the food only, I must sway from my normal chowhound ways and ask for a good First Date restaurant, emphsis on atmosphere.

I am looking for a fun, cute place. But, without an ear-blasting level of sound and music. Really quiet places are out of the question - too much room for awkwardness. My date is beautiful, so I want to do a lot of staring and try not say anything too stupid - as I am prone to do. Village/Soho location is preferred but not necessary. And of course, no recommendations for places with bad chow.

Thanks for all your insight guys!
