I'm a pizza lover. Thin New York style, Roman extra thin crisp, Neopolitan, Chicago thick. If its good pizza, I like it.
Had read at least some positive reviews of D'Amore before so decided to try the new one in Westwood. I will be kind: It's not good. Tried the thin and the scicilian. The sauce is way too sweet, the crust tastes pre-packaged and reheated, the cheese looked like pizza that's been in your freezer wayyy too long, and you try to reheat it.
By the way, the students know. Almost every other place in the village was jammed and this place was virtually empty.
Man, it made me long for the pizza in the Coop.
