Well, actually, this *is* about food, just not about recipes.
I've noticed very often that the foil that encloses a block of cream cheese never shows the name of the company that's selling the cream cheese. The outer cardboard container does, but not the internal wrapper.
Why? Why are food companies (Kraft, or Smith's supermarkets, or Albertson's, or whoever) foregoing this obvious opportunity at branding?
I always buy "store brand". I assume that some well-known cream cheese manufacturer produces the store's private-label products. OK, so why don't the supermarkets ask the manufacturers to use foil imprinted with the seller's name?
