Hi, first off thanks for input on my last inquiry, on Curate vs. Zambra for tapas for a dinner for my wife and I during an upcoming visit to Asheville, we have reservations for Curate and are looking forward to it.
Got another question, about breakfast. The Mrs. and I are planning to do the Biltmore House our second day there. We have two-day tickets in a package we bought, but are going to try to do it in one day to leave other days free for other stuff. Our "game plan" for that day is to eat a hearty, non-fast food breakfast, take a snack lunch to the Biltmore House (although the restaurants there are tempting) and then we already have reservations for dinner somewhere.
We are leaning toward the Corner Kitchen or Books & Breadboard, rather than some place like Tupelo Honey or Sunny Point, because (a.) of the proximity to Biltmore and (b.) the fact that they open earlier (7:30 for Corner Kitchen, 8 for Books & Breadboard) because if we're going to do Biltmore in one day, we want to be there at opening time and not waste a second.
Those of you who are in Asheville or are veteran visitors there, is this a good game plan, which of these two would you recommend or would you recommend somewhere else? As noted, we don't want to do fast food. Thanks in advance for any help!
