I purchased a jar of Agostino Recca anchovy fillets in olive oil . I opened them and that is what it reads on the jar . Keep in cool place . Ha Ha , I think they mean temperature . I have stored them in the fridge but the oil congeals and you have to bring the jar to room temp to use them . I like the salted ones I store in the fridge , but these are packed in oil . What is the best temperature to store them , or where do you store yours ? Just keep them on the counter top ? I will be using all of them within a week . My house is around the high sixties in temp .
