Congee or Congee Village

Lambretta76 | Jun 14, 2005 04:34 PM

I never thought I'd make one of those x or x posts, but here we are. Anyways, I'm a big fan of Congee Village, but I've been reading old posts and apparently many people think that Congee (on Bowery) is a much better restaurant.

Besides the house sepcial chicken and salt quid, what makes Congee that much better. Or, are the options at Congee Village better. Or, since I'm trying to show an out-of-towner the best Chinese in the city, should I go somewhere else altogether? (My faves are in Flusing and Brooklyn and are, unfortunately, out of the question...)
