Clean your closets and shop at the Arlington Farmers Market

FarmerGal | Mar 31, 200305:57 PM

This Saturday marks an important day in The Arlington Farmers' Market. The Market has partnered with various non-profit organizations to offer "coffee with a cause" each Saturday at the Market.

Over the coming months, many non-profits will attend the Market, and provide information on their agencies.

Please stop by to pick up your morning coffee/tea/juice and help a worthy cause while you are at it!

First Saturday: Volunteers of America (This week's non profit!): From rural America to inner-city neighborhoods, VoA provides outreach programs that deal with today’s most pressing social needs; the organization also helps youths at risk, frail elderly, abused and neglected children, people with disabilities, homeless individuals, and many others. http://www.voa.org

This Saturday VoA will be holding a drive at the Market for the following items:
canned and/or nonperishable foods;
bottled water for emergency packs;
current and clean business attire for both men and women.
