My Queen Anne/Interbay friend's old mom has Altzheimer's and old dad can't handle mom's needs alone, so restaurants are out of the question most days, but I am hoping fellow chowhounds can help me put together a list of restaurants/stores from which some class-A chow can be taken out, on my way home from Downtown to Fremont in the evenings.
I've just begun this list, and might do pretty well all by myself, but your able help is always appreciated. This list started with the idea of frozen Tamales from the Mexican Grocery (soft food is best) and a salad from TJ, then it started to grow. So far, I've got:

Malena's Taco Shop (Queen Anne/Ballard)
El Puerco Lloron.
Tacos Guaymas.
Muy Macho. (ok, it's a trip, but a good trip)
Chillie's Paste
Paseo

I just know I'm leaving out a lot of great options, but it is time to go and I must jet...

thank you all

eric
