Just read R.W. Apple's latest piece in the NY Times (by the way, has that guy got the best job in the world, or what?) and it has me jonesing for choucroute. Is there anyplace in LA that makes a good choucroute garnie? The last one I ate was at the Brasserie de L'Ile St Louis, and that was on my honeymoon 2 1/2 years ago. I must have more kraut. Especially in this weather.
