I had a wonderful chicken soup at Otaez Restaurant last night. The broth was thick and savory, its saltiness tempered by pieces of celery and zucchini, a few slivers of carrot, and most deliciously, rich chunks of fresh avocado. I had a sore throat, and the soup was perfectly soothing.
My friend had the Chile Verde--tender pork in green sauce, with rice, beans, and their homemade tortillas. We washed it all down with Otaez's jumbo strawberry agua frescas, my new favorite beverage.
Has anyone ordered from the taqueria section of Otaez? Is the food there as good as in the restaurant?
