My old crock pot has a glitch where you have to set the temperature then let it cook until the timer goes from 30 to 29 before you can set the time (otherwise it turns itself off). Last night I got distracted and never set the time.
Thus, I wound up cooking chicken in salsa verdi on high for half an hour, after which it went to warming mode and stayed there for three or four hours. When I noticed, unsure what to do I just put it on low and let it cook overnight for six hours then put it in the fridge.
Should I eat it or toss it?
