Chicago Mag Declares "The Party Is Over" for Chicago's Dining Scene

Primarily posting for the quiet Chowhound shoutout: "Let me ask politely: Do most people really love jibaritos or gym shoe sandwiches? Is there any truly great Italian beef out there? (A wise chowhound Chicagoan once told me the best one I’d ever find would merit a B+.)"

I certainly have enjoyed dining in Chicago in my last few trips, but I'd be curious what a local thinks of this article.
