i'm trying to pick a place and make reservations in advanced for a saturday night birthday dinner for 2.
after reading the suggestions in SF gate's 9/4/05 article (on "the magnificient seven"), for various reasons (budget, looking at their websites/menus/photos), i've managed to bring it down to these last 3 places:
chez panisse, or gary danko, or fleur de lys?
we like good wine pairings, creative and refreshing combination of ingredients.
