At a wedding reception over the weekend I had a cheese spread that I loved. A mixture of sharp cheese, some chives I think, and a few chopped pecans along with whatever else was holding it together had been put in a ring mold, then unmolded, and cranberry chutney was placed in the middle. The cheese stuff reminded me of cheese straws, only it wasn't baked/crunchy. It wasn't wet like most cheese spreads/dips, though. Do you have any idea what else might have gone into this?
