"Cheek" Meat

When I was in El Paso earlier this summer, I noticed that they were selling "cheek" meat along with a lot of the other beef products. I would assume that this is the meat from the head of a steer or cow. I believe that the Mexican groceries call it Barracoa.

Exactly, what is it? That is the texture or flavor of the meat, and what is it used for?
