Charlotte Restaurant Week 2017

sweinsch | Jan 25, 201704:24 AM

We are recent transplants to Charlotte from Southeast Florida. We have slowly been checking out the restaurants in Charlotte and have been quite pleased with what we've found. Jan 20-29 is Restaurant Week in the Queen City so we are taking the opportunity to make some first-time visits to some popular restaurants where you get a $30-$35 3-course dinner. Last night we enjoyed an excellent meal at Evoke: rigatoni with duck sausage (which was delicious!), beef strip loin, striped bass, gingerbread cake; they also offered flights of wine, beer or bourbon for extra $$. We will definitely return there to check out more of their menu. Bernardin and ROCKSALT are also on our list for the week. Other restaurants we've enjoyed in Charlotte and surrounding area since moving here: Stagioni, Passion8, Customshop, Price's Chicken Coop, 131 Main, Kindred, Fork!, 300 East, and Reid's Fine Foods (prime rib sandwich on Thursdays).
