Charleston - No Pork

LulusMom | Feb 11, 201710:49 AM

We're heading to Charleston, SC next month and starting to plan our meals (that's what people normally plan first, right?). We'll have 4 meals, and I'm already set on FIG (I've been before and loved it), and Peninsula Grill (LLD and I have been & I need that coconut cake again). So we have 2 slots to fill. I'm thinking The Grocery and/or The Ordinary. Do they overlap too much? An important thing for me is that I'm able to find lots of choice without having to work around not eating red meat. Would either of those restaurants present a problem? I find a lot of Southern chefs put pork in with their seafood. Any other suggestions? We'll be staying in tourist central, and would like to be able to walk to restaurants. Price not a big issue. We love seafood, French, stuff with strong flavors. Thanks very much in advance.
