My Cellar Vibrates

michelleats | Dec 16, 201008:42 PM     15

It's a bit of an unavoidable problem since my building is built close to a subway track: The subterranean space where I store my wines vibrates every time a train goes by. How much damage should I expect to my wines, as a result? Is it something that would only show up in the long term? I do have a few wines down there that I would ideally like to save for a few decades and storage conditions are otherwise perfect (good temperature and good humidity level).
