Celery Soup from 11/16 NYT

The soup was simplicity in itself. The maple red wine mixture was very good but I am glad I made it yesterday and allowed the falvors to develop. The soup makes aout 1/2C. per serving for 8. I think 1.5 Tbs. of the maple syrup mixture was too much.It was really good but over powered tha last bites of the soup. Maybe 3/4 Tbs. Next time? There will be a next time.

Meanwhile the guests are gone, the dishes cleaned and put away, all of the glasses washed and I'm going to bed to save up some energy for Christmas in 4 weeks.
