Has a very solid oxtail with red beans and rice & cabbage on Sunday. Some fried plantains rounded out a hearty meal, $8 for the small which really just means one person. Oxtail was the star of the show, meltingly tender, flavorful, great dark, peppery sauce. The large is a big, family-style pasta plate for $11 (Im fairly certain I couldve eaten the large, assuming large meant more meat and not more rice & beans). Very tasty chicken patties with just the perfect amount of spice. Washed down with two ginger beers, made me wish I brought some rum to make some proper dark & stormys. Rice & Beans mighty tasty, cabbage was also done well. Place doesnt seem to be any secret though Ive often seen it completely empty, which is a shame. Ill be back for the jerk chicken or maybe the curried goat. Lots of good-looking fish dishes zipped by me too. Theyve got Red Snapper & King Fish & Escovitch.
