my bf's parents treated us to dinner at capo on saturday night at my request. thank you folks! aside from the fact that we had a 6 pm reservation and stood outside the restaurant with three other parties waiting for ten minutes for them to open the door, everything was stellar. our waiter was knowledgable which was pleasant. the decor is homey and smells great with the woodburning grill in the corner.
first, they came around offering little sesame cones with marscapone and heirloom tomatos which were exquisite. it was so good that i ordered the buratta caprese. let me say it was so awesome i would have been happy leaving right after that. luckily i didn't. because i had the most luscious lobster risotto, chock full of lobster. also got to share in the grilled meats, bf's mom had the 16 oz filet and dad had the kobe. everyone raved. nice dish of petit fours including a home made caramel came lastly and a light chocolate souffle finsihed us off. i can't wait to go back!
