I take my parents to the same restaurants every time they come to New York -- Yeah Shanghai Deluxe, Joe's Shanghai and Congee Village. Are they are any other must-try places that serve anything but Cantonese food (i.e., Szechuan, Taiwanese, Shanghai)? I know about the Grand Sichuan and Wu Liang Ye chains and they weren't all that impressed. We've also tried the soup dumplings at New Green Bo and concluded that they are better at Yeah Shanghai across the street (tastier filling, more sophisticated skin). Are we missing anything??
