canned soup

i usually consider progresso to be the gold standard for canned soups--especially pea, chickarina, some of the pasta soups, ect.

but i just ate the MOST disappointing bowl of progresso chicken barley--thin bordering on watery, less pieces of chicken, pratically tasteless. what gives? it reminds me of a thread from a while ago on the decline in quality of processed foods. has anyone else had this experience w/ progresso? any other kinds/ brands i'm missing that are truly great?
