So, I moved on Friday and I've been thinking about new places to try in my new 'hood.
I know I have to try the Buckman Bistro, and that I should probably save up to try it's more expensive mama, William's.
I am already a fan of Zell's for breakfast (went there on Sat. for sustainance before the major unpacking started, actually) - though at those prices (and it's potatoes OR toast for a $7-8 breakfast!) I don't think I'll be a regular every weekend.
I'm also a fan of Nicholas' which is a bit of a hike but not too bad.
I know Crush is close (Morrison and 14th) though it is more of a wine/martini place that serves a bit of food. If anyone has any info on it, though, I'd love to hear it!
I also hear the Rimsky-Korsakoffee House is right around there and a great dessert place/coffee house. It's on the list.
So, what else is in my new 'hood (river to SE 28th and Hawthorne to Burnside) that I should try? I'm looking for things closer to the river than to 28th, 'cause I'm on 11th and not a huge fan of driving.
What's the closest, best Asian food around there?
