Trying to see a lot of friends on a short trip via a power brunch. Are there any options that are not unnecessarily expensive (Norma's, Petrossian) but also good food (i.e. not Sarabeth's, Rue 57 etc.)?
Would like to be able to make a reservation for an 8 person party, ideally online (like OpenTable) or via phone, which rules out many of the Hell's Kitchen walk in places.
Other nice to have would be the ability to hear each other, which is why the Smith and PS 450 aren't really options. That type of place minus the decibels would be great though.
My current backup plan is one of the places near the High Line (Cookshop, Red Cat etc.) but was hoping to find something a bit further north if possible.
