i know this is really last minute (whoops) but tomorrow night i'm having a date over and wanted to make him a brazilian feast.
something simple though... a nice salad, pao de queijo, rice, beans, and mocequa. a brazilian stew that has tomato, coconut, and usually shrimp. but i wanted to substitute a fish. some then follow with a brazilian flan recipe i have thats fabulous.
do you all think this would impress someone who is in love with brazil?
also, does anyone have tried and true delicious mocequa recipe? a friend gave me a brazilian cookbook "A Taste of Brazil" by Ofelia for my birthday recently, but I have yet to try anything. has anyone used this cookbook?
I know its a long shot, but I'd love to hear if you have a great mocequa recipe.
