I may not be the consummate authority on ribs and ribs-based flavors, but everyone I have taken here on my 3 visits in the restaurant's first two weeks has loved the food, and cannot wait to return.
Tonight was case in point, where a previous visitor insisted on returning with 4 mutual friends who were trying it for the 1st time.
Between the pulled pork stuffed dumplings to the brisket to the pulled chicken to the baby backs to the flat iron steak to the .... - you get the picture, we all loved everything.
I know this sounds like a shill, yet I talked to a couple sitting 2 tables away who were eating there for their 4th time, and the restaurant only opened two weeks and one day ago!
Get some of their spicy bbq sauce to accompany whatever you feel you want kicked up a notch - truly wonderful, addicting, and SPICY(think chili powder)!
Even the sides of cole slaw, fried mac n cheese, collard greens, as well as a very unlike ribs joint salad appetizer were all truly enjoyable.
And the prices are not overly high - with a bill including 2 bottles of Sin Zin priced at $36 each, was only $224(6 people), wherein we had everything we could want, including one couple having a banana split that was raved about. Not being a chocolate person, I did not taste, but they did eat the pattern off the bowl it was served in!!!
A special of a 24 oz ribeye that nobody ordered yet looked wonderful was brought to a neighboring table, which was decadently adorned including bleu cheese and balsamic among several other items - to me, it would just be tooooooo much food, regardless of price. But it would be an interesting item to split!!!
