Bollywood Indian in Hollywood

After reading the review about this new Indian restaurant recently opened in Downtown Hollywood we were very excited to try it. We usually have to travel for good Indian food. What a disappointment! This was probably the worst Indian we've ever had. They didn't even have chutney. The chicken vindaloo wasn't even hot and had an overbearing taste of vinegar. The lamb korma was tough and also bland. Even their bread selection was lacking. The kid who served us basically said the owner doesn't really care - he was out at a catered event that evening. Which leads me to the question - What kind of food critics do we have? Do these people actually eat in the places they review? And how is it possible that they had dinner at this place and actually liked it and gave it a "very good"?
