Bobak's has come up a few times before on chowhound, and I've always wanted to try. Their ad in today's Tribune food section, however, sealed the deal.

First, the prices: $1.69 for oxtails, whole rotisserie chicken for $1.99; rye breads, 49 cents each!

Second, what the heck are some of these things: mixed smoked meat (at only 39 cents a lb); Urbanek Swedish salad; Pomozanka carmel milk fudge candy cows?

Last, free, free! imported Pieniawa carbonated natural water with purchase of $30 or more.

Any more Bobak tips?
